Methodology & responsible use

How MindLabIQ self-assessments work

MindLabIQ assessments are designed to organize user answers or performance into clear educational reports. The goal is not to diagnose, certify or make official decisions, but to help users reflect on patterns in a structured way.

The assessment process

1

Focused questions or tasks

Each test uses a defined set of questions, statements or reasoning tasks related to one topic, such as anxiety, burnout, personality, procrastination or cognitive reasoning.

2

Structured scoring

Responses are organized into a result band, score range or profile category. The result is intended to provide context, not a final judgment about the user.

3

Report interpretation

The report explains what the result may suggest, what it does not prove, and what practical reflection points may be useful.

What the reports include

Result summary

A concise overview of the user’s result band, score range or profile type.

Plain-language analysis

Explanation written for normal users, avoiding unnecessary jargon and avoiding clinical overclaiming.

Strengths and risk areas

Depending on the test, reports may highlight patterns, strengths, blind spots or possible areas of strain.

Practical reflection

Suggestions and prompts that help users think about habits, wellbeing, productivity or further exploration.

Responsible limitations

Clear notes explain that results are educational and should not replace professional evaluation.

Private delivery

Reports are designed to be delivered privately, with access connected to email when appropriate.

Limitations

MindLabIQ assessments are not equivalent to supervised clinical, medical, educational, employment or official IQ assessments. Results should not be used for medical diagnosis, school placement, hiring decisions, legal decisions or emergency evaluation.
